Diwali, also known as the festival of lights is one of the national festivals in India. The whole country lights up on the night of this festival. People light diyas, candles, and crackers and illuminate their surroundings. The people decorate their houses with colourful lights.
This lighting up the whole surrounding with all the colourful lights implies that the light or brightness has won against darkness. Some people also worship the idol of Goddess Laxmi to bring wealth and prosperity on the occasion of Diwali.
On the 7th October, the students of the Sr.Kg. section, had a Diwali Assembly, where the children from all the 4 divisions, light up the stage with dance, song and enacted a beautiful skit, which showed the value of love and friendship among their friends and loved ones.
