Fancy Dress

Clothes make a statement. Costumes tell a story. – Mason Cooley

Children love to mimic and impersonate their parents, and want to become just like them. Children love it when they are included in any activities with the adults because they feel like they are at the same level with their parents or elders. Fancy dress encourages children to express their point of view of the world around them. To excite both children and parents the Pre-Primary section organised a Fancy Dress competition for the children of Jr.kg and Sr.kg on 12th February 2024.

It was a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up in different characters. The children were dressed up as doctors, Police officers, freedom fighters, coconut, tree, save water to name a few. It was a proud moment to see the little ones speak so confidently.

This activity was fun and excellent for children as it sparked their imagination and made them think more, it also gave them a platform to bring out their inner talent and build their self-confidence.

It stimulated creativity in parents when they had to mix-and-match whatever items they could find at home to make their children’s costumes and props. Kudos to all the children and parents for making Fancy dress competition a big success!
