To make learning joyful and experiential, Don Bosco School CBSE, Borivli, organised a Bagless Day on 29th September, 2026 for all the students of the pre-primary, primary, and secondary sections. The day was thoughtfully planned and conducted by our enthusiastic teachers, who designed a variety of engaging activities that encouraged children to learn beyond the traditional classroom. From creative and artistic activities to interactive games, collaborative tasks and hands-on experiences, every activity was planned to spark curiosity, encourage participation and make learning enjoyable.
The school ground became a lively space as our young learners enthusiastically participated in a specially organised outdoor obstacle game. The activity was designed to encourage physical fitness, coordination, balance and agility. The students had to run in a zig-zag pattern around the cones, wear a hula hoop, hop three times and then run towards the finish line. With great excitement, the children took turns completing the course while cheering and encouraging their friends. After the energetic games, the students enjoyed their tiffins together on the school ground, making their mealtime a fun and memorable experience. The outdoor setting allowed them to relax, interact with their friends and enjoy their food in a cheerful atmosphere.
The students of standards I to IV came alive with excitement, creativity and joyful learning as the school celebrated Bagless Day. With textbooks and school bags set aside for the day, our young learners stepped into a world of fun-filled activities, exploration and experiential learning. The children participated with great enthusiasm and excitement. Their smiles, laughter and eagerness to take part reflected the joy of learning through experience.
Students of standards V to VII experienced the world of ‘Parts of Speech’ in an entirely different manner through a fun-filled and enriching game- ‘The word detector’, that allowed students to hunt for words and showcase them creatively on charts. Students also had activities such as Human Number Chain and Math Bingo that encouraged children to think creatively, communicate confidently, work together, solve problems and express themselves freely. Physics came alive for the students of standards VIII and IX as they stepped into the world of exploration and discovery.
