The spirit of patriotism and freedom came alive at Don Bosco School CBSE, Savio Kindergarten, as our Sr. KG and Jr. KG students celebrated Independence Day with great joy, enthusiasm and pride.
On 13th August 2026, the Sr. KG students had their first Independence Day Assembly, giving them a wonderful opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on stage. The students presented a variety of performances, including dances, songs and skits based on freedom fighters. Their confidence, energy and enthusiasm made the celebration truly memorable.
The teachers worked with great dedication and trained the students patiently, helping each child prepare and perform with confidence. The parents were also invited to witness this special milestone and proudly watch their children perform on stage. Our School Principal, Ms. Neelam Rodrigues, graced the occasion with her presence. She addressed the gathering and encouraged our little Savioiites with her warm and motivating words.
On 14th August 2026, the patriotic spirit continued as the Sr. KG and Jr. KG students came to school dressed in tricolour attire. On this day, the Sr. KG students were taken to the school ground for a fun-filled activity, where they participated with great excitement and joy. The children looked adorable in their colourful outfits and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor experience along with the special classroom activity planned for the occasion. It was a joyful and memorable day filled with learning, creativity and celebration.
The Independence Day celebrations provided our young learners with beautiful opportunities to express themselves, develop confidence, learn about the values of freedom and patriotism, and celebrate the spirit of our nation together.
