The Investiture Ceremony for the Primary Section of Don Bosco School, CBSE, Borivli was held with great pride and solemnity on Wednesday, 15th July 2026, marking a significant occasion in the school calendar. The ceremony celebrated the appointment of the newly elected student leaders, entrusting them with the responsibility of upholding the values and traditions of the school while serving as role models for their peers.

The programme commenced with a warm and gracious welcome extended to the dignitaries, members of the management, staff, parents, and students. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the school gathered to witness the formal induction of its young leaders.

The highlight of the ceremony was the investiture of the Student Council. The SSC Captains were ceremoniously adorned with their badges by Fr. Ranson, symbolising the trust and confidence reposed in them. This was followed by the investiture of the CBSE Student Council, whose badges were presented by Principal Mrs. Neelam Rodrigues and Primary Coordinator Ms. Grenita Machado. The conferring of badges served as a reminder of the honour, responsibility, and commitment associated with leadership.

Following the investiture, the newly appointed leaders took the Oath of Office with confidence and sincerity. They pledged to discharge their duties with integrity, honesty, discipline, and dedication, promising to serve the school community to the best of their abilities. The oath reflected their commitment to lead by example, uphold the school's values, and work tirelessly for the welfare of their fellow students.

Adding a meaningful and inspiring touch to the programme, the students of Grade 4 presented the song "I Follow Don Bosco." Beautifully trained by Sir Allan, the choir delivered a heartfelt performance that highlighted the ideals of service, faith, compassion, and leadership exemplified by Don Bosco. Their melodious rendition was warmly appreciated by everyone present and reinforced the spirit of the occasion.

Throughout the ceremony, an atmosphere of discipline, enthusiasm, and unity prevailed, reminding all present that leadership is not merely about holding a position but about serving others with humility and responsibility. The event inspired every student to cultivate qualities of courage, commitment, and selfless service.

The Investiture Ceremony concluded on a patriotic and inspiring note with the singing of the School Anthem, celebrating the institution's vision and values, followed by the National Anthem, which filled the gathering with a deep sense of pride and national spirit.

The ceremony was a memorable and meaningful event that not only honoured the newly elected student leaders but also encouraged every student to aspire to become responsible, compassionate, and confident citizens.
