As part of the CBSE Reading and Literacy Month, which aims to inculcate reading and digital reading habits among students, our school organised a Picture Talk Competition for the Senior KG section on 13th July 2026.

The students came well prepared with colourful pictures on a variety of topics, including birds, parks, zoos, gardens, family picnics, and many more. Each child confidently came forward, displayed their picture, and spoke a few sentences about it. Their presentations reflected confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm.

The competition provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their communication skills, improve their vocabulary, and develop self-confidence while expressing their thoughts. It also encouraged attentive listening and active participation among their classmates.

To appreciate the students' efforts, the 10 best performers were awarded Certificates of Excellence, while all other participants received Participation Certificates.

The Picture Talk Competition was a joyful and enriching experience that successfully promoted language development, confidence, and self-expression, while supporting the objectives of the CBSE Reading and Literacy Month.
