Don Bosco School Borivali – Primary Section celebrated Red House Day on 3rd August 2026 with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students and teachers. The entire Primary Section came alive in shades of red, promoting house spirit, unity, and pride.

The celebration began with a special assembly highlighting the significance of the colour red, symbolising courage, strength, determination, and leadership. Students were introduced to the inspiring lives and values of the Red House leaders, Michael Rua and Rani Lakshmi Bai, encouraging them to imbibe these qualities in their daily lives.

An engaging Red House Quiz added excitement to the programme, where students enthusiastically answered questions related to Red House symbols, objects, and its distinguished leaders. The interactive session made learning enjoyable while strengthening students' knowledge about their house.

To make the celebration more colourful, Grade 1 to Grade 4 students participated in a Red House Day Colouring Activity, showcasing their creativity and artistic skills. The beautifully completed worksheets were displayed throughout the school corridors, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Each class also decorated its display board with attractive Red House Day charts, adding to the spirit of the celebration.

Students of the Red House proudly dressed in red attire, while all students brought red-coloured food items in their tiffin’s, making lunchtime a delightful continuation of the day's theme.

The event was meticulously planned and coordinated by the Red House Teacher In-charges, Tr. Priya and Tr. Cordelia, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the celebration.

Red House Day was a memorable occasion that fostered teamwork, creativity, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging among students. The celebration truly reflected the vibrant spirit of the Red House and left everyone with lasting memories of a joyful and meaningful day.
